Dr. Basant Pant, is a neurosurgeon with over three decades of clinical experience, currently serving as Chairman of Annapurna Neurological Institute and Allied Sciences in Nepal. With an MBBS, MD, and PhD from prestigious institutions, he has held leadership roles in major hospitals and contributed significantly to neurosurgery through research, publications, and international presentations. His work focuses on brain tumors, neuro endoscopy, epilepsy surgery, and functional neurosurgery. Dr. Pant has received numerous awards, holds leadership roles in regional and global neurosurgical societies, and is dedicated to advancing healthcare in Nepal through clinical practice, research, and awareness initiatives. He is a founding member and chairman of Neuro-foundation Nepal, a past president of the Nepalese Society of Neurosurgeons, and an active member of several international neurosurgical societies.
