"In comparison to my other clinical internships, the one at ANIAS was definitely the best when it comes to learning about clinical cases and surgical interventions. ANIAS is - compared to European hospitals - a really small clinic which has specialized in neurological cases. But during the daily OPD round, you will get to see a lot of non-neurological related cases. Here you have the possibility to see and attend different surgeries like discectomies, craniotomies, resection of tumors, shunts or aneurysm clippings and so on. For most of the surgeries, it is possible to scrub in and get to work a bit with the surgeons. What really is remarkable is that Dr. Pant and every other doctor are taking a lot of time explaining cases or surgical interventions to the students and will help you get along in the hospital. So if you are looking for a possibility to expand your horizon on how hospitals and medical staff work in different countries, I can definitely recommend a stay at ANIAS."
